At The Headlight Serum, we stand behind the quality of our products and the results they are designed to deliver. Every order is backed by our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee, in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

2-Year Headlight Guarantee

The Headlight Serum is designed to restore clarity and improve the appearance of suitable cloudy, hazy and oxidised exterior headlight lenses.

When The Headlight Serum is correctly applied to a suitable headlight in accordance with our application instructions, we stand behind the restored result for 2 years from the date of application.

If the restored result materially deteriorates or fails within that 2-year period, contact our customer support team. We will assess your claim and, where eligible under this guarantee, provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement product or refund.

Our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee also applies where The Headlight Serum does not deliver the expected restoration result despite being correctly applied to a suitable exterior headlight lens.

Results & Product Performance

Results can vary depending on the original condition of the headlight and circumstances surrounding preparation, application and ongoing use.

Factors that may affect results include:

• The condition and severity of oxidation or deterioration of the headlight lens
• Surface preparation and cleaning
• Application technique
• Previous coatings or treatments
• Pre-existing physical damage
• Environmental conditions during application and curing
• Ongoing exposure to weather, UV and other environmental conditions

The Headlight Serum is intended for suitable exterior headlight lenses affected by issues such as cloudiness, haze, yellowing and oxidation.

It may not be suitable for headlights affected by deep cracking, severe physical damage, internal condensation or fogging, deterioration located inside the headlight assembly, or other conditions that cannot be corrected by treating the exterior lens.

Eligibility Under Our Guarantee

You may be eligible for a replacement or refund if:

• Your product arrives damaged
• Your product has a manufacturing defect
• The Headlight Serum does not deliver the expected restoration result despite correct preparation and application to a suitable headlight
• A correctly achieved restoration result materially deteriorates or fails within 2 years of application, subject to the conditions of this guarantee

To qualify for a performance-related claim, the product must have been used substantially in accordance with the application and curing instructions provided by The Headlight Serum.

Subject to applicable consumer law, our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee does not cover issues caused solely by:

• Incorrect or improper application
• Failure to follow the provided preparation, application or curing instructions
• Inadequate cleaning or surface preparation
• Application in unsuitable environmental conditions
• Pre-existing physical damage to the headlight
• Cracking or damage occurring after application
• Internal condensation, fogging or damage within the headlight assembly
• Subsequent use of incompatible chemicals, abrasive treatments or coatings
• Accidents, impact damage, misuse or other external physical damage

The 2-Year Headlight Guarantee is a product-performance guarantee and does not create a general two-year change-of-mind return period.

Products that have been opened, used or partially used are therefore generally not eligible for a return solely because of a change of mind. This does not prevent an eligible claim under our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee or affect any rights available under applicable consumer law.

Reporting an Issue

If your order arrives damaged or you believe your product is defective, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

For claims relating to the restoration result or durability under our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee, contact us within 2 years of application.

To help us assess your claim, we may reasonably request:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs or video of the affected headlight
• Information about how the headlight was prepared and how the product was applied
• The approximate date of application
• Any other information reasonably necessary to assess the claim

We may request reasonable evidence to determine whether the product was used on a suitable headlight and applied substantially in accordance with our instructions.

Assessment & Resolution

Claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Where a claim is accepted under our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

• A replacement product, or
• A refund to the original payment method

Where an issue is determined to have resulted solely from incorrect application, inadequate preparation, unsuitable application or curing conditions, pre-existing physical damage, subsequent damage, internal headlight deterioration, or another circumstance outside the scope of the guarantee, we may decline the claim.

Nothing in this section limits any remedy that you are otherwise entitled to receive under applicable consumer law.

Return Shipping

If we require a product to be returned as part of an accepted claim, we will provide appropriate return instructions.

Where required by applicable consumer law, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs associated with an accepted defective or damaged product claim.

In some circumstances, we may determine that returning the product is unnecessary and advise you accordingly.

Consumer Guarantees

Our 2-Year Headlight Guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not replace, any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) where applicable.
